• Common: Headache, myelosuppression, fever, chills, skin reactions.

✔️ Dosage & Administration of Hydronix 500

• Always use impervious gloves when handling capsules. Do not open or crush capsules.
• Dosage is based on actual or ideal weight, adjusted as needed for comorbidities and concurrent therapies.

Solid Tumors:

• Intermittent Therapy: 80 mg/kg orally every third day.
• Continuous Therapy: 20-30 mg/kg orally daily.
• With Radiation Therapy: 80 mg/kg orally every third day, starting 7 days before radiation and continuing indefinitely if tolerated.

Resistant Chronic Myelocytic Leukemia:

• Continuous therapy with 20-30 mg/kg orally daily.

Polycythemia Vera:

• Initial dose: 30 mg/kg orally daily for 1 week, followed by 15-20 mg/kg daily.

Essential Thrombocythemia:

• Initial dose: 15 mg/kg/day, adjusted based on platelet counts.

Sickle Cell Disease and β-thalassemia:

• Dose: 15-30 mg/kg orally daily, adjusted as needed.
