Airfors Inhaler (Salbutamol + Budesonide) is indicated for the treatment of asthma in adults (18 years and older). It provides quick relief from asthma symptoms, helps prevent bronchoconstriction, and reduces the risk of asthma exacerbations. The combination contains salbutamol, a bronchodilator that relaxes airway muscles, and budesonide, a corticosteroid that reduces airway inflammation.

Excessive salbutamol may cause rapid heartbeat, tremors, headache, nervousness, low potassium, and metabolic disturbances. Prolonged excessive budesonide use may lead to systemic corticosteroid effects such as hypercorticism.

✅ Description:

The recommended dose is 2 inhalations (Salbutamol 180 mcg + Budesonide 160 mcg) as needed for asthma symptoms. Do not exceed 6 doses (12 inhalations) within 24 hours. Shake well before each use. Prime the inhaler before first use by releasing 4 sprays into the air. Re-prime with 2 sprays if unused for more than 7 days, after cleaning, or if dropped.

Drug Interactions:
Use caution with strong CYP3A4 inhibitors (e.g., ritonavir, ketoconazole), beta-blockers, diuretics, digoxin, MAO inhibitors, and tricyclic antidepressants, as they may affect the efficacy or safety of the inhaler.

Contraindications:
Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to salbutamol, budesonide, or any of the inhaler's components.

Common Side Effects:
Possible adverse effects include worsening asthma, paradoxical bronchospasm, cardiovascular effects, allergic reactions, low potassium levels, oral fungal infections (thrush), adrenal suppression, decreased bone mineral density, glaucoma, and cataracts.

Pregnancy & Lactation:
Available data do not suggest a significant risk of major birth defects with inhaled salbutamol or budesonide during pregnancy. However, use during pregnancy and breastfeeding should be based on a physician's recommendation.

Precautions & Warnings:
