Anxiety Disorders:

Psychovegetative and Psychosomatic Disorders:

Pharmacology

Dosage & Administration of Clob 10mg Tablet

Treatment of Anxiety States:

  • Adults and adolescents over 15 years: The initial dose is usually 20 mg daily, not to exceed a total daily dose of 30 mg.
  • Elderly: A maintenance dose of 10 to 15 mg daily may be sufficient.
  • Children (3 to 15 years): A daily dose of 5 to 10 mg is frequently sufficient.

Treatment of Epilepsy:

  • Adults and adolescents over 15 years: Start at small doses (5 to 15 mg daily) and gradually increase to a maximum daily dose of about 80 mg.
  • Children: Start at 5 mg daily, a maintenance dose of 0.3 to 1.0 mg/kg body weight daily is usually sufficient.

Duration and Discontinuation:

  • Treatment duration should be as short as possible.
  • Reassess the patient after a maximum of 4 weeks.
  • The overall duration of treatment (including the tapering-off process) must not exceed 8 to 12 weeks.

Administration of Clob Tablet:

  • Tablets can be administered whole or crushed and mixed in applesauce.
  • 10 mg tablets can be divided into halves of 5 mg.
  • Can be given with or without food.
Interaction
  • Alcohol increases serum concentration.
