Indication

This medication is highly effective remedy used to treat worm infestations and infection like giardia, ascariasis, guinea worm, ringworm , hookworm and pinworm infections or hydatid disease caused by parasites. It is an antihelminthic agent, belonging to the type called benzimidazole.

For threadworms, a single dose of 100 mg or 1 teaspoonful of Solas is recommended for both adults and children over the age of 2. For whipworms, roundworms, and hookworms, a dose of 100 mg or 1 teaspoonful should be taken twice daily for 3 days. A second dose may be needed after 2 weeks if reinfection occurs.
