Less common, may include allergies, and mouth or throat swelling.
Benzocaine, an ester local anesthetic, blocks nerve impulses by reducing neuronal membrane permeability to sodium ions, leading to depolarization inhibition and conduction blockade.
Epiglottitis (oral spray), methemoglobinemia.
Pregnancy Category C. Use only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk.
Store between 15-30°C.
