✔️ Ingredients

• Each Soft Gel Contains Evening primrose oil, Vitamins E & C 1000,
• Equivalent to active ingredients GLA (Gamma Linolenic Acid) 10%=100mg LA (Linolenic acid) 72%=720mg. Non-active ingredients & Preservative agent: DL-Alpha tocopherol (Vita-E) 5mg.

✔️ Side Effects of EPO-EC Capsule

EPO-EC may cause gastrointestinal symptoms like nausea, vomiting, flatulence, diarrhea, and bloating.

✔️ Dosage & Administration of EPO-EC Capsule

• Adult dosages: In moderate conditions, 1 cap 2 times daily but in severe positions, dosage may be increased up to 1 cap 3/4 times daily. or as directed by the health care provider. Children's dosages: The recommended daily dose of soft gel is one cap 1/2 times daily with meals for 3/4 months or as advised by the health care provider.
• The usual dose of Soft Gel with a meal or after meal 1 Cap 2 times daily for 15 to 20 days or as advised by the physicians.
• Initially 1 cap 2/3 times daily with or after a meal. The maintenance dose is 1 cap once over a long period or as suggested by the Concerned physician.

✔️ Interaction

Interactions may occur between EPO-EC and warfarin, aspirin, Fish oil, and NSAIDs. Such interactions, if they were to occur, might be manifested by nosebleeds, increased susceptibility to brushing, and hematuria. If these symptoms occur, EPO-EC intake should be stopped.

✔️ Precautions & Warnings

It is important to exercise caution when using this medication, especially in individuals with a history of seizure disorder or those taking medications that lower the seizure threshold, such as certain aliphatic phenothiazines.

If EPO-EC is used in individuals with undiagnosed complex partial seizures, it may potentially trigger seizure symptoms. Therefore, it should be used with extreme care in such cases.

In individuals with schizophrenia who are undergoing treatment with specific neuroleptic agents known to lower the seizure threshold, such as aliphatic phenothiazines like chlorpromazine, the use of EPO-EC may lead to partial complex seizures, including temporal lobe epilepsy, as well as other types of seizures.

It is crucial to be aware of these precautions and warnings when considering the use of EPO-EC, and it is recommended to consult with a healthcare professional for appropriate guidance.
