N-Mycin is an antifungal eye medicine used to treat certain fungal infections of the eye. The supplied prescribing information identifies natamycin as the active ingredient. Natamycin is a polyene antifungal that acts against susceptible fungi responsible for eye infections.
The dose and duration depend on the severity and type of infection and must be determined by an ophthalmologist.
For fungal keratitis, intensive initial dosing may be necessary, followed by a gradual reduction in frequency as the infection improves. Less frequent dosing may be appropriate for certain other fungal eye infections.
Do not use a general dosing schedule without confirmation of the product's active ingredient, concentration, and formulation. Serious fungal eye infections require close ophthalmic supervision.

✔️ How to Apply N-Mycin Eye Drops
- Wash your hands thoroughly.
- Check the product label and shake the bottle if instructed.
- Tilt your head back and gently pull down the lower eyelid.
- Instill the prescribed number of drops into the lower eyelid pocket without touching the dropper tip to the eye, fingers, or other surfaces.
- Close the eye gently and apply light pressure near the inner corner of the eye for about one minute if advised.
- If using other eye medicines, generally leave at least 5–10 minutes between products, following your ophthalmologist's instructions.
- Do not stop treatment early or change the frequency without medical advice.

N-Mycin should not be used in patients with a known hypersensitivity to natamycin or any other ingredient in the specific product.
