D-Chiro-Inositol is obtained through a patented extraction process from Carob (Ceratonia siliqua) pods, primarily sourced from Southern Europe.
A deficiency of D-Chiro-Inositol in peripheral tissues contributes to insulin resistance, which subsequently leads to ovarian hyperandrogenism and the development of PCOS.

D-Chiro-Inositol:

1. Restores insulin sensitivity and improves glucose tolerance
2. Reduces circulating insulin levels
3. Lowers luteinizing hormone (LH) and serum testosterone, helping to rebalance androgen–estrogen levels
4. Decreases oxidative stress on ovarian follicles
5. Reduces total cholesterol and triglyceride levels
6. Improves ovulatory function, with clinical improvement often observed within two weeks of therapy

Dosage & Administration

Drug Interactions

Concomitant use with digoxin may increase the risk of digoxin toxicity.

Contraindications

Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to D-Chiro-Inositol or any formulation component.

Human studies with inositol have not shown clinically significant adverse effects during pregnancy or lactation.
