Ivtin 12 mg Tablet contains Ivermectin, an antiparasitic agent used for the treatment of various parasitic infections. It is indicated for the management of intestinal strongyloidiasis, lymphatic filariasis caused by Wuchereria bancrofti, onchocerciasis (river blindness), and human scabies when prior treatments have failed.
Ivermectin works by binding to specific nerve and muscle cells of parasites, causing paralysis and death of the organisms, thereby helping eliminate the infection.
