Indications of Anclog Plus Tablet

Acute coronary syndrome (ACS): it is suitable for reducing the occurrence of myocardial infarction (MI) and stroke in patients with non-ST-segment elevation ACS [Unstable angina (AI) / non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI) ] Rate. It is used to reduce the incidence of myocardial infarction and stroke in patients with ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). 

Recent MI, Recent Stroke, or Confirmed Peripheral Artery Disease: For patients with confirmed peripheral artery disease or recent myocardial infarction (MI) or a history of recent stroke, it can reduce the incidence of myocardial infarction and stroke.

Pharmacology of Anclog Plus Tablet

Clopidogrel is a prodrug. It inhibits platelet activation and aggregation by irreversibly binding its active metabolites to P2Y12 ADP receptors on platelets. A dose-dependent inhibition of platelet aggregation can be observed 2 hours after a single oral administration. A repeated daily dose of 75 mg inhibited ADP-induced platelet aggregation on the first day, and the inhibition reached a steady state between the 3rd and the 7th day.

Dosage & Administration of Anclog Plus Tablet

The recommended oral dose is one tablet daily.

Interaction of Anclog Plus Tablet

Oral anticoagulants, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), Metamizole, SSRIs, and CYP2C19 inhibitors all increase the risk of bleeding. Tonofovir, Valproic acid, Varicella vaccine, Acetazolamide, and Nicorandil all interact with it.

Contraindications

This combination should not be used if you have any of the following conditions: Hypersensitivity to the medicine or any of the product's components. Peptic ulcer or cerebral hemorrhage are examples of active pathological bleeding.

Side-Effects of Anclog Plus Tablet

This combination is generally well tolerated.

Pregnancy

There is no adequate and well-controlled study of pregnant women. It should be used during pregnancy only when clearly necessary. It is not known whether clopidogrel is excreted in human milk. The importance of the drug to the mother should be considered and a decision made to stop breastfeeding or discontinue the drug.

Precautions

• This combination may cause bleeding to take longer.
• TTP (thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura) has been documented seldom as a side effect of this combination.
• Reye's syndrome is a condition that can occur in people who have chicken pox, influenza, or flu symptoms. Patients receiving this combination or who have a history of hypersensitivity to other thienopyridines have suffered rash, angioedema, or hematologic reactions.
