Painful muscle spasms related to musculoskeletal disorders, including:
- Low back pain, sciatica, joint overstrain
- Osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis
- Herniated disc, spondylosis
- Nerve root compression due to osteoporosis
- Soft-tissue inflammation such as bursitis, periarthritis, and humeroscapular periarthritis
Muscle spasticity associated with neurological conditions, such as:

✔️ Mechanism of Action
Tolperisone is a centrally acting muscle relaxant that reduces muscle tone without causing significant sedation.
✔️ Dosage
Adults
Oral (muscle spasm/spasticity): 50–150 mg, three times daily
Intramuscular: One ampoule twice daily; administer slowly
Children
Below 6 years: 5 mg/kg/day in three divided doses
6–14 years: 2–4 mg/kg/day in three divided doses
✔️ Adverse Effects
Occasionally: muscle weakness, headache, nausea, vomiting
Rarely: hypersensitivity reactions
✔️ Drug Interactions
Concomitant use with other muscle relaxants such as methocarbamol, may enhance effects.

Hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation
