Hydrocortisone is a corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive effects. Fusidic acid exhibits antibacterial action by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, particularly against gram-positive organisms like Staphylococcus aureus.
Mild irritation at the application site and rare reports of hypersensitivity reactions may occur. Adverse effects include dryness, itching, burning, local irritation, and more.
Fusibac-H Cream is indicated for various skin diseases where bacterial infections are present or suspected, including primary irritant dermatitis, contact allergic dermatitis, eczema (atopic, infantile, discoid, stasis), and seborrhoeic dermatitis.
Fusidic Acid BP 2% & Hydrocortisone Acetate BP 1% combination cream combines the antibacterial action of Fusidic Acid with the anti-inflammatory & anti-pruritic effects of Hydrocortisone Acetate. Fusidic Acid acts against various bacteria by inhibiting protein synthesis. Hydrocortisone Acetate reduces the skin's response to injury, exhibiting anti-inflammatory properties.

Fusidic Acid may inhibit the metabolism of drugs if absorbed systemically. No hazardous drug interactions are reported with topical Hydrocortisone Acetate.
Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to Fusidic Acid, Hydrocortisone Acetate, or other components. Also contraindicated in bacterial infections due to non-susceptible organisms, fungal infections, tuberculosis of the skin, and more.
Safety during pregnancy or lactation is not established. Use during pregnancy or lactation should consider potential benefits against risks.
Avoid use in or near the eye. Extended use in certain areas may lead to systemic effects. Caution is advised in children under three years and lack of data for children under three years of age.
