Heart Failure

✔️ Dosage & Administration: Entresto 200

For Adults:

Starting dose: 49/51 mg twice daily.
Increase to: 97/103 mg twice daily after 2 to 4 weeks, if tolerated.
A lower starting dose (24/26 mg twice daily) is recommended for patients new to ACE inhibitors/ARBs, or those with severe kidney or moderate liver impairment.

For Pediatric Patients (1 year and older):

Dosage varies by weight, starting from 1.6 mg/kg twice daily for those under 40 kg.
Patients over 50 kg follow the adult dosage schedule.

Pregnancy & Lactation: Should not be used due to potential harm to the fetus or nursing infant.
Pediatric Use: Safe for ages 1 and older; not established for infants under 1 year.
Elderly Patients: No significant differences in response.
Liver & Kidney Impairment: Dose adjustments may be required for moderate/severe impairment.
