Dsec Mups 30 Tablet

✔️ Dsec MUPS Tablets

• Maintenance of healed erosive esophagitis: One 30 mg tablet once daily for up to 6 months in adults and up to 16 weeks in adolescents (12–17 years).
• Symptomatic non-erosive GERD: One 30 mg tablet once daily for 4 weeks.

✔️ Dexlansoprazole Capsules

• Healing of erosive esophagitis: 60 mg once daily for up to 8 weeks.
• Maintenance of healed erosive esophagitis and heartburn relief: 30 mg once daily.
• Symptomatic non-erosive GERD: 30 mg once daily for 4 weeks.

✔️ Dsec MUPS may interact with several medicines, including:

• Atazanavir
• Warfarin
• Tacrolimus
• Clopidogrel
• Methotrexate

✔️ How to take Dsec MUPS?

• Dsec MUPS may be taken with or without food.
• Swallow the tablet or capsule whole with water.
• If using the capsule and swallowing is difficult:
  • Open the capsule carefully.
  • Sprinkle the intact granules onto one tablespoon of soft food.
  • Swallow immediately without chewing the granules.
• If a dose is missed, take it as soon as remembered unless it is nearly time for the next dose. Never take two doses together.

✔️ Side Effects of Dsec Mups 30

• Diarrhea
• Abdominal pain
• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Flatulence (gas)

✔️ Contraindications

Do not use Dsec MUPS if you have:

• Known hypersensitivity to dexlansoprazole or any ingredient in the formulation.

✔️ Use Dsec MUPS with caution in patients who have:

• Suspected gastric malignancy
• Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhea
• Increased risk of bone fractures
• Low magnesium levels (hypomagnesemia)
• Concurrent methotrexate therapy

✔️ Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

Pregnancy: Classified as Pregnancy Category B. Use during pregnancy only if prescribed by your physician after evaluating the potential benefits and risks.

Breastfeeding: It is not known whether dexlansoprazole passes into human breast milk. Consult your healthcare provider before using it while breastfeeding.
