Sucrasol contains Sucralfate, which forms a protective coating over ulcers and damaged areas of the gastrointestinal lining. This coating acts as a physical barrier against stomach acid, pepsin, and bile salts, allowing the ulcer to heal naturally while reducing further irritation.
If a dose is missed, take it as soon as remembered. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue the regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

✔️ Dosage & Administration
Sucrasol should be taken on an empty stomach, preferably 1 hour before meals or 2 hours after meals.
- Shake the bottle well before use.
- Measure the dose using a proper measuring cup.
- Follow the dosage and duration prescribed by your doctor.
Adult Dose
- Peptic ulcer / Chronic gastritis:
1 g four times daily or 2 g twice daily for 4–8 weeks. Treatment may continue up to 12 weeks if needed. - Maintenance therapy:
1 g twice daily to prevent recurrence of duodenal ulcers. - Stress ulcer prophylaxis:
1 g six times daily. - Maximum daily dose: 8 g.
Child Dose
- 1 month–2 years: 250 mg 4–6 times daily
- 2–12 years: 500 mg 4–6 times daily
- 12–18 years: 1 g 4–6 times daily
Use cautiously in renal impairment because aluminum salts may accumulate.

Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Sucralfate or any component of the formulation.

- Use cautiously in patients with kidney disease, as aluminum accumulation may occur in renal failure.
- Avoid driving or operating machinery if dizziness or drowsiness occurs.
- Do not stop treatment early, as ulcers may take 4–6 weeks or longer to heal completely.
- Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have chronic kidney problems.
