✔️ Uses of Terbikill Cream

• Tinea pedis (athlete’s foot)
• Tinea corporis (ringworm)
• Tinea cruris (jock itch)
• Dermatophytosis
• Cutaneous candidiasis
• Pityriasis versicolor
• Fungal nail infections

✔️ How to Use

• Use only on the affected skin as directed by your doctor.
• Clean and dry the affected area before application.
• Apply a thin layer over the infected area and nearby surrounding skin.
• Wash your hands after application unless they are the treatment site.
• Complete the full course of treatment, even if symptoms improve before the infection is fully cleared.

✔️ Words of Advice:

• Complete the prescribed treatment course to prevent recurrence.
• Improvement may be seen within a few weeks, but skin discoloration may take longer to resolve.
• Apply enough cream to fully cover the affected area and about 1 inch (2.5 cm) of surrounding skin.
• Protect treated skin from excessive sunlight by using sunscreen and wearing protective clothing.
• Avoid contact with the eyes, nose, and mouth.
• Consult your doctor if symptoms do not improve after four weeks.

✔️ Do not use Terbikill Cream if you have:

• Hypersensitivity to terbinafine or any ingredient in the formulation.
• Active or chronic liver disease (particularly relevant for oral terbinafine).
• Breastfeeding, unless recommended by your doctor.

✔️ Dosage & Administration

Adult Dosage

Dermatophytosis

• Tinea pedis: Apply twice daily until clinical improvement (maximum 4 weeks).
• Tinea corporis and tinea cruris: Apply once daily for 1 week (maximum 4 weeks).
• Cutaneous candidiasis and pityriasis versicolor: Apply once or twice daily for 2 weeks.

Pediatric Use

The topical formulation has not been FDA-approved for pediatric use.

✔️ Use with caution in patients with:

• Liver impairment
• Kidney impairment
• Pregnancy

Liver function tests are recommended before initiating oral terbinafine therapy. Breastfeeding is generally not recommended during oral treatment.

✔️ Storage:

• Store in a cool and dry place away from sunlight.• Keep Terbikill 1% Cream out of the sight and reach of children. • Non-cold chain - To be stored in cool places at 10ºC to 25ºC or below 30ºC.
