How does Canesten Cream work?

It binds to phospholipids in the fungal cell membrane and alters its permeability.

• It is effective in the management of fungal skin infections and superinfections caused by bacteria
• It is also useful in ailments such as athlete's foot, itching, burning, redness and cracking of skin
• The combination of ingredients helps to soften dry, rough, and flakey skin
• It contains anti-bacterial properties that kill harmful bacteria on the skin

Dosage & Administration

• It is only for external use.
• Take a small amount of lotion/cream/ointment on the fingertip and apply a thin layer on the clean and dry affected area as your doctor prescribes.
• Avoid contact with lotion/cream/ointment with the nose or eyes. In case of accidental contact with these areas, rinse with water thoroughly.
• Wash your hands before and after using lotion/cream/ointment if your hands are not in the affected area to prevent the spread of infection.
