✔️ Ecosprin is used for:

Prevention of Arterial Blood Clots

• Heart attack (myocardial infarction)
• Prevention of recurrent heart attacks
• After coronary artery bypass surgery
• Acute ischemic stroke
• Transient ischemic attack (TIA or mini-stroke)

Pain Relief

• Headache
• Muscle pain
• Menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea)
• Toothache
• Other mild to moderate pain conditions

Inflammatory Conditions

• Osteoarthritis and other chronic conditions associated with pain and inflammation

Fever Reduction

• Fever associated with colds
• Influenza-related fever

✔️ Dosage and Administration

Pain, Inflammation, and Fever

• Aspirin 300 mg: 1–3 tablets every 6 hours as needed
• Maximum daily dose: 4 g

Suspected Acute Coronary Syndrome

• 150–300 mg immediately, unless contraindicated

After Heart Attack

• 150 mg daily for one month
• Followed by 75 mg daily for long-term prevention

Acute Ischemic Stroke or TIA

• Initial dose: 150–300 mg daily
• Maintenance dose: 75 mg daily

After Bypass Surgery

• 75–300 mg daily, starting approximately 6 hours after the procedure

✔️ Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Pregnancy

Aspirin should generally be avoided during the last three months of pregnancy unless specifically prescribed by a doctor, as it may cause complications for both the mother and the unborn baby during delivery.

Breastfeeding

Aspirin passes into breast milk and should be used with caution in nursing mothers. Consult a healthcare professional before use.

• Nausea
• Indigestion (dyspepsia)

• Bronchospasm

✔️ Ecosprin should not be used in:

• Children under 12 years of age due to the risk of Reye’s syndrome
• Individuals with active peptic ulcers
• Patients with hemophilia or other bleeding disorders
• Patients with intracranial hemorrhage
• Individuals with active gastrointestinal ulceration
• Breastfeeding women unless specifically advised by a physician

✔️ Aspirin may interact with several medications, including:

• Anticoagulants (blood thinners)
• Oral antidiabetic medications
• Phenytoin
• Sodium valproate
• Probenecid
• Sulfonamide antibiotics

These interactions may increase bleeding risk, alter drug effectiveness, or increase medication toxicity.

Aspirin may also trigger bronchospasm or asthma attacks in susceptible individuals.

✔️ Symptoms of aspirin overdose may include:

• Dizziness
• Ringing in the ears (tinnitus)
• Excessive sweating
• Nausea and vomiting
• Confusion
• Rapid breathing (hyperventilation)

Severe overdose may cause:

• Coma
• Central nervous system depression
• Cardiovascular collapse
• Respiratory depression

If an overdose is suspected, immediate medical attention is required. Treatment may involve gastric lavage, alkaline diuresis, and in severe cases, hemodialysis.

✔️ Use Ecosprin carefully if you have:

• Asthma
• Uncontrolled high blood pressure
• Nasal polyps
• Nasal allergies
• A history of stomach ulcers or bleeding disorders
