Indication

Used in adults and children (aged above 12 years) to provide:

• Relief from the symptoms of hay fever (seasonal allergic rhinitis)

Fexofenadine is a selective peripheral histamine H1-receptor antagonist. Adults and Children (12 years and older):

• Tablets: 60 mg twice a day or 120 mg once a day or 180 mg once a day
• In case of renal failure: 60 mg per day

Children (6 to 11 years old):

• Tablets: 30 mg twice a day or 60 mg once a day
• In case of renal failure: 30 mg once a day

Children (2 to 11 years old):

• Suspension: 30 mg or 5 ml twice a day
• In case of renal failure: 30 mg or 5 ml once a day

For Chronic Idiopathic Urticaria:

Adults and Children (12 years and older):

• Tablets: 60 mg twice a day or 120 mg once a day or 180 mg once a day
• In case of renal failure: 60 mg per day

Children (6 to 11 years old):

• Tablets: 30 mg twice a day or 60 mg once a day
• In case of renal failure: 30 mg once a day

Children (6 months to under 2 years):

• Suspension: 15 mg or 2.5 ml (1/2 teaspoon) twice a day
• In case of renal failure: 15 mg or 2.5 ml (1/2 teaspoon) once a day

Children (2 to 11 years old):

• Suspension: 30 mg or 5 ml (1 teaspoon) twice a day
• In case of renal failure: 30 mg or 5 ml (1 teaspoon) once a day
