How does Viamax 100mg Tablet work?

Dosage & Administration of Viamax 100mg Tablet

• The recommended dosage is 50 mg of Sildenafil taken approximately one hour before sexual activity.
• Sildenafil can be taken between 30 minutes and 4 hours before sexual activity.
• Depending on effectiveness and tolerability, the dose may be adjusted to a maximum of 100 mg or lowered to 25 mg.
• Do not take more than one dose per day.

Interaction

• Be cautious when combining sildenafil with medications that lower blood pressure, such as organic nitrates used for angina.
• Some antibiotics like erythromycin and rifampin, as well as protease inhibitors like Ritonavir and Saquinavir, used for HIV treatment, may increase sildenafil levels in the blood.
• Antifungal medications like ketoconazole and itraconazole may lower sildenafil clearance.

Contraindications

• Do not use sildenafil if you are hypersensitive to any component of the medication.
