Indications of Bicozin

Bicozin s used to treat, control, prevent, and improve the symptoms of the following diseases, conditions, and symptoms:
 

• Deficiencies in zinc
• Eye problems
• Lack of riboflavin
• Osteoporosis
• Diarrhea in undernourished children
• Migraine
• Immunity
• Nervous disorders
• Wilson's syndrome Nervous system disorders, osteoporosis, Wilson's disease, and other conditions

Pharmacology

Zinc is required for a variety of biological functions, including immune enhancement, wound healing, digestion, reproduction, physical development, and intellectual development. During pregnancy, childhood, and adolescence, zinc promotes normal growth and development. Zinc has antioxidant properties as well. Zinc is used to treat ADHD in children (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder). Mental drowsiness, rough skin, and weight loss can be caused by zinc deficiency, poor appetite, poor taste and smell, depression tendency, white marks on nails, frequent infections, low fertility, prostate problems, mental problems, poor wound healing, poor immune system, and diarrhea in adults.

Vitamin B is required for the release of energy from food. In both children and adults, they play an important role in maintaining healthy brain and nerve function as well as the formation of healthy red blood cells. They are especially important for children's healthy growth and development. Adults who are deficient in dual vitamins may experience extreme fatigue as well as a variety of neurological symptoms such as weakness, poor balance, confusion, irritability, memory loss, tension, tingling limbs, and loss of coordination. Sleep disturbance, nausea, loss of appetite, frequent infections, and skin damage are also symptoms of vitamin B deficiency.

Dosage & Administration of Bicozin

Syrup-

• Adults: 10 ml (2 teaspoonfuls) 2 to 3 times daily or as recommended by the physician.
• Children: 10 ml (2 teaspoonfuls) 1 to 3 times daily or as recommended by the physician.
• Infants: 5 ml (1 teaspoonful) 1 to 2 times daily or as recommended by the physician.

Interaction of Bicozin

Tetracycline and zinc taken together can reduce GI absorption and serum tetracycline levels. Similarly, taking zinc and fluoroquinolones at the same time can reduce GI absorption and serum levels of certain fluoroquinolones. Combining niacin with HMGCoA reductase inhibitors (such as lovastatin) can result in syphilis and rhabdomyolysis. By increasing peripheral metabolism, pyridoxine reduces the effectiveness of levodopa. The combination of pyridoxine and phenytoin can lower phenytoin levels in the blood.

Contraindications

Patients known to be allergic to any component of this product should not use vitamin B-zinc complex.

Side Effects of Bicozin

The following is a list of potential side effects from all of the ingredients in Bicozin Tablet. This is not an exhaustive list. These side effects are possible, but they are not always experienced. Some of the side effects may be uncommon but severe. Consult your doctor if you experience any of the following side effects, especially if they persist.

• Itching of skin
• Difficulty in swallowing
• Coughing
• Difficulty in breathing
• Sweating
• Feeling of warmth
• Mild tenderness or hardening at the injection site
• Breathing problems
• Low blood pressure
• Rashes
• Feeling sick
• Allergic reactions
• Skin irritation
• Weakness
• Thiazide diuretics increased the release of zinc through urine
• Zinc along with quinolone or tetracycline antibiotics reduces the amount of both zinc

Pregnancy & Lactation

This is recommended in pregnancy and lactation.

Precautions & Warnings

Accumulation of zinc can occur in acute renal failure, so the dose needs to be adjusted. This is not to treat specific serious deficiencies.

Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light. Keep all medicines out of the reach of children.
