Vitamin B-Complex contains essential water-soluble vitamins that play a vital role in numerous metabolic and physiological functions.
- B-Complex vitamins are involved in carbohydrate, fat, and protein metabolism, helping convert food into usable energy. They support tissue respiration, glycogen breakdown, lipid metabolism, and contribute to the synthesis and maintenance of coenzyme A. Some B vitamins also help regulate lipid metabolism by reducing very-low-density lipoprotein (VLDL) synthesis and promoting the clearance of triglyceride-rich lipoproteins from the bloodstream.
- Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin) is essential for normal red blood cell formation, DNA synthesis, nerve cell function, myelin production, tissue growth, and cell replication. Its absorption from the gastrointestinal tract depends on the presence of intrinsic factor, a glycoprotein secreted by the stomach. Vitamin B12 also contributes to normal tissue respiration and supports the activation of pyridoxine (Vitamin B6) and the conversion of tryptophan into niacin.

This Vitamin B-Complex preparation is indicated for the prevention and treatment of Vitamin B deficiency and related conditions. It is commonly prescribed for:
