Scabies is a skin infection caused by a mite known as Sarcoptes scabiei. Nemus Pmt Lotion is used for the treatment of scabies. It is a topical Lotion containing permethrin as the active ingredient. This Lotion acts against scabies-causing organisms called mites. You may experience symptoms such as intense itching and a pimple-like skin rash. This Lotion acts by paralysing the causative organism mites, and results in the death of mite. It is meant for external use only. Apply the Lotion as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. It should not be applied to broken skin or near the eyes. Wash your hands before and after applying this Lotion.

- Treatment of head lice: Pmt Lotion is used to kill head lice that infest the scalp and hair.
- Elimination of eggs: Pmt Lotion helps destroy the eggs (nits) of lice and mites, reducing the risk of reinfestation.
- Relief from itching and irritation: Pmt Lotion soothes itching, redness, and irritation caused by lice and scabies infestations.

Do not use Pmt Lotion if you are allergic to Permethrin, chrysanthemums, or any component present in Pmt Lotion. Children below six years, pregnant women, and breastfeeding mothers should consult a doctor before using Permethrin. The infected area should be kept clean and dry before applying the medicine.

- Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication to ensure safety.
- For scabies: Apply a thin layer to the entire body (excluding face and scalp unless advised), leave it on for 8–12 hours, then wash off.
- For head lice: Apply to the scalp and hair, leave it on for about 15-20 minutes, then rinse thoroughly and comb out lice and eggs.
- Avoid contact with the nose or eyes. In case of accidental contact with these areas, rinse with water thoroughly.
