What if you forget to take Losectil 20?

Pharmacology

Losectil 20 Capsule is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that inhibits the final step of gastric acid secretion by blocking the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system in the gastric parietal cell.

Dosage & Administration of Losectil 20 Capsule

Losectil 20 should be taken one hour before a meal, preferably in the morning. The dose will depend on the underlying condition and the patient's response to the medicine. The usual adult dose for peptic ulcer disease is 20-40 mg/day for 4-8 weeks, and maintenance is 10-20 mg/day. The dosage for H. pylori infection is in combination with antibiotics, and the duration is 7-10 days. The dose for acid reflux is 20 mg/day for 4 weeks, which may continue for another 4-8 weeks if necessary.
