Composition

Each kit contains one Rabeprazole 20 mg tablet, two Amoxicillin 500 mg capsules, and one Clarithromycin 500 mg tablet.

Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dark stools, dry mouth, and more, with most occurring in less than 3% of patients.

Indication

Pylocure Kit is indicated for eradicating H. pylori in active chronic gastric, duodenal, and gastric ulcers.

Pharmacology

• Amoxicillin acts by inhibiting cell wall biosynthesis, leading to bacterial death.
• Clarithromycin inhibits protein synthesis in susceptible organisms by binding to the bacterial ribosome.
• Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that suppresses gastric acid secretion.

Dosage & Administration of Pylocure Kit

The recommended dosage is each tablet twice daily for 7-14 days or as per the physician's advice.

Overdose Effects:

• Overdose experiences are not reported for Rabeprazole.
• Overdosing with Amoxicillin can lead to symptomatic and supportive treatment.
• Clarithromycin overdose may cause gastrointestinal symptoms.

Interaction

• Rabeprazole has limited interactions with drugs metabolized by the cytochrome P450 system.
• Clarithromycin may interact with various drugs, including theophylline.

Contraindications

This drug is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its components.
