✔️ Uses of Luwin Cream

Luwin Cream is indicated for the topical treatment of fungal infections such as:

• Tinea corporis (ringworm)
• Tinea cruris (jock itch)
• Interdigital tinea pedis (athlete’s foot)

✔️ Side Effects

Common (but usually mild):

• Application site burning, stinging, redness, irritation, dryness, or peeling.

Rare (seek immediate medical attention):

• Signs of a severe allergic reaction: rash, swelling of the face/lips/throat, breathing difficulty, dizziness, or nausea.

✔️ How to Use

Apply a sufficient amount of cream to cover the affected skin and about 1 inch of surrounding healthy skin. Use once daily for the full duration prescribed. Ensure the skin is clean and dry before application. Wash hands before and after use.

✔️ Dosage & Administration

Adults:

• Tinea Pedis (athlete’s foot): Apply a thin layer once daily to the affected area and the surrounding 1-inch margin for 2 weeks.
• Tinea Cruris and Tinea Corporis: Apply once daily for 1 week.

Children:

• Tinea Corporis and Tinea Cruris (12–18 years): Same as adult dosage.
• Tinea Pedis (2–18 years): Apply once daily for 2 weeks.
• Below-age recommendations: Safety and efficacy not established.

✔️ Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or any component of the formulation.

✔️ Use in Pregnancy & Lactation

• Pregnancy: Should be used only if needed and as directed by a healthcare provider.
• Lactation: Data on topical use in breastfeeding women is limited. Use with caution and avoid application to the chest area to prevent infant exposure

✔️ Precautions & Warnings

• For external use only. Not to be used in the eyes, mouth, or vagina.
• Avoid excessive use; using more than prescribed will not hasten recovery and may increase the risk of side effects.
• Maintain good hygiene: Keep the infected area clean and dry. For athlete’s foot, change socks daily and disinfect footwear.
• Inform your doctor if symptoms persist beyond 2–4 weeks of treatment.

Do not store above 30°C. Keep away from light and out of the reach of children.
