Zivent MR 35

✔️ Words of Advice:

• Zivent MR 35 helps prevent future angina attacks but does not relieve acute chest pain once it starts.
• It does not significantly affect blood pressure or heart rate.
• Continue lifestyle modifications such as regular exercise, a healthy diet, quitting smoking, and stress management for better heart health.
• Avoid alcohol and activities requiring concentration if dizziness

✔️ Dosage & Administration

• Standard tablets: 40–60 mg daily in 2–3 divided doses
• Modified-release tablets: 35 mg twice daily

The medicine should preferably be taken with food and at the same time every day for maximum benefit. Dosage adjustments may be required in patients with kidney impairment.

Renal Dose Adjustment

• CrCl 30–60 mL/min: 20 mg twice daily or modified-release 35 mg once daily
• CrCl below 30 mL/min: Contraindicated

Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not chew, crush, or break the tablet. Take it regularly as prescribed, even if symptoms improve.
If a dose is missed, take it as soon as remembered. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue the regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose.

• Diarrhea
• Rash or itching

✔️ Zivent MR 35 should not be used in patients with:

• Known hypersensitivity to Trimetazidine or any component of the formulation
• Severe renal impairment

✔️ Zivent MR 35 may interact with:

• Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs)
• Nifedipine
• Other anti-anginal medicines, in which it may enhance their effects

Inform your doctor about all medicines you are currently taking before starting treatment.

✔️ Precautions & Warnings

Use cautiously in patients with moderate kidney impairment. This medicine may cause dizziness or drowsiness, so patients should avoid driving or operating heavy machinery if affected.

The use of Zivent MR 35 during pregnancy is generally not recommended unless clearly necessary. Caution is also advised during breastfeeding as it is not known whether the medicine passes into breast milk.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct light and heat. Keep out of reach of children.
