✔️ Uses:

• Cerebral Insufficiency: Treatment for memory deficits, depression, attention, and memory loss associated with Alzheimer's disease and multi-infarct dementia.

✔️ Pharmacology

Ginkgo biloba inhibits the binding of platelet-activating factor (PAF) to platelets, resulting in reduced platelet aggregation and increased blood fluidity. This action reduces thrombosis and improves cognition, working memory, short-term visual memory, social functioning, concentration, attention, tinnitus, daily living activities, mood, and sleep, particularly in people with dementia and older individuals.

✔️ Dosage & Administration

• Ginkgo Biloba 60 mg: 1 or 2 capsules daily or as advised by the physician.
• Ginkgo Biloba 120 mg: 1 or 2 capsules daily or as advised by the physician.

Earmemo should not be used in children under 12 years old.

✔️ Side Effects

No side effects have been reported following the proper administration of designated therapeutic dosages. In pooled clinical trials involving 10,000 patients, side effects were minimal, with a few cases of headaches, dizziness, palpitations, gastrointestinal disturbances, bleeding disorders, and skin hypersensitivity reactions. Higher than recommended doses may cause diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, restlessness, and weakness.

• Use with caution in patients taking anticoagulants or antiplatelet agents (e.g., warfarin, heparin, aspirin).
• Contraindicated bleeding disorders due to the increased bleeding potential associated with chronic use (6-12 months) or before elective surgery.
• Contraindicated in patients with known risk factors for intracranial hemorrhage.

No known restrictions have been found regarding the use of Earmemo during pregnancy and lactation.

✔️ Precautions & Warnings

Before taking Earmemo, inform your doctor if you have allergies, bleeding problems, seizures, convulsions, or epilepsy. Earmemo may decrease the ability of blood to clot, so it is advisable to stop taking it at least 2 weeks before surgery.
