Indication of FSH 150IU IM/SC Injection

Female:

• Ovulation Induction: FSH administered IM or SC with HCG sequentially for patients with pituitary suppression.
• Multi-follicular Development: FSH administered IM with HCG for controlled ovarian stimulation during ART cycles in patients with pituitary suppression.
• Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS): Treatment for PCOS-related infertility.

Male:

• Male infertility treatment in combination with HCG for induction of spermatogenesis in men with Hypogonadotrophic-hypogonadism.

• The injection is administered subcutaneously (under the skin). It's crucial to adhere to the recommended dosage and monitoring schedules to minimize the risk of ovarian hyperstimulation.
• During treatment, promptly inform your doctor if you experience severe pelvic pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, sudden weight gain, trouble breathing, or decreased or no urination. These symptoms could indicate ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) and require immediate medical attention.
• Do not use Urofollitropin if you are already pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Pregnancy resulting from treatment with Urofollitropin is more likely to lead to a multiple pregnancy (twins or more) compared to natural conception.

Pharmacology:

• A highly purified preparation of human FSH-HP extracted from postmenopausal women's urine.

Dosage of FSH 150IU IM/SC Injection

• Individualized dosage based on ovarian response, monitored by ultrasound and estradiol levels.

• Ovulation Induction: Starting dose of 50 IU FSH for at least 7 days, adjusted based on response.

• Male: Pre-treatment with HCG, then administer 450 IU FSH per week.

Drug-Drug Interactions:

Administration:

Contraindications:

• Tumors of ovary, breast, uterus, pituitary, or hypothalamus.

• Primary ovarian failure, fibroid tumors of the uterus incompatible with pregnancy.
• Primary testicular failure.
