Betnovate C cream is a topical medication used to treat a variety of skin conditions, such as eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis and insect bites. It contains two active ingredients: betamethasone and clioquinol,
Betamethasone is a steroid applied to the skin. It reduces inflammation, swelling, and redness by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers called prostaglandins.
Clioquinol reduces skin infections caused by bacteria. It inhibits certain enzymes involved in bacterial DNA synthesis, resulting in their death. It is also effective against some fungal skin infections.

Betnovate-C Cream is a prescription medication used to treat various skin conditions, including dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, and allergic contact dermatitis. This cream is meant for external use only. Always use Betnovate-C exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Apply a thin layer to the affected area and gently rub it in.
