Dulcoflex Tablet belongs to the group of medicines called 'stimulant laxatives' used to treat constipation. Dulcoflex Tablet increases intestinal movements, thereby facilitating stool passage. Dulcoflex Tablet helps normalize bowel movements by increasing intestinal movements. Dulcoflex Tablet is also used to clean the intestines before any examinations or medical procedures.

Side Effects of Dulcoflex 5mg Tablet

Dosage & Administration of Dulcoflex 5mg Tablet

• To be taken under medical supervision.
• For adults, take 1-2 tablets a day with water or as directed by your doctor.
• For children between 4 and 10 years of age, only 1 tablet a day is recommended.
• Consume the tablet at night for proper bowel movement the next day.
• Swallow this tablet as a whole, do not chew.

Interaction

• Dulcoflex Tablet may have interaction with diuretics (furosemide), anti-emetics (ondansetron), and corticosteroids (prednisolone).
• Avoid consuming dairy products and calcium with the Dulcoflex Tablet.

• Dulcoflex tablets should not be used in patients with ileus, intestinal obstruction, acute abdominal conditions including appendicitis, acute inflammatory bowel diseases, and severe abdominal pain associated with nausea and vomiting which may be indicative of severe conditions
• It should be used with caution in pregnant and breastfeeding women. Consult your physician for advice
• It should be used in children aged 12 years and above. Consult with your doctor.
