CALCIUM+VITAMIN D3: Nutritional Supplements for Healthy Bones
CALCIUM+VITAMIN D3 combines two components - Calcium (mineral) and Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol). Calcium prevents or treats calcium deficiency, offering essential nutrients for bone formation and maintenance. Vitamin D3 regulates blood calcium and phosphorus levels and aids bone mineralization, used to treat and prevent bone disorders like rickets and osteomalacia.
Alcohol can impact calcium absorption. Therefore, it's advisable to limit or avoid alcohol consumption while using CALCIUM+VITAMIN D3.

This combination is used for the treatment of osteoporosis, osteomalacia, rickets, tetany, and parathyroid disease. Calcium supplements are often used to ensure adequate dietary intake in conditions such as pregnancy & lactation, osteogenesis and tooth formation (adjunct with definite treatment), and therapy with anti-seizure medications. It is also used as a routine supplement and phosphate binder in chronic renal failure.
