Neobet is a combination medication used to treat various types of skin infections, reducing symptoms of inflammation such as redness, swelling, and itching. It contains Betamethasone, an active topical corticosteroid that rapidly alleviates inflammatory dermatoses and certain skin diseases like psoriasis.
Neobet also contains Neomycin Sulfate, a broad-spectrum antibiotic effective against various gram-positive and gram-negative pathogens commonly associated with skin infections. It minimizes symptoms of inflammation and has antimicrobial properties against infection-causing microorganisms.
This cream is primarily indicated for the treatment of superficial infections caused by both gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms. It is also effective in conditions such as burns, wound healing, otitis externa, postoperative infections, neurodermatitis, and eczema. Additionally, it may be used alongside systemic steroid therapy for specific types of pyoderma.
No significant drug interactions have been reported with Betamethasone Valerate BP and Neomycin Sulphate BP Cream/Ointment.
Avoid extensive use during pregnancy.
Store Neobet below 30°C, away from light and moisture, and out of reach of children.
