✔️ How to use (general guidance)

General baby-massage guidance, not instructions from Kodomo. Follow the directions printed on the label first.

Baby massage

1. Choose a warm, draught-free room and a time when your baby is calm and alert, not straight after a feed.
2. Wash and dry your hands. Remove rings and bracelets.
3. Pour a few drops of oil into your palm and rub your hands together to warm it. Never heat the bottle.
4. Use slow, gentle strokes on the legs, arms, tummy (clockwise) and back. Go lighter on newborns.
5. Keep the oil away from your baby's eyes, and away from their hands, which often go to the mouth.
6. Wipe off any excess with a soft cloth and dress your baby in loose clothes.

After bath

1. Pat your baby's skin dry with a soft towel.
2. Smooth a small amount of oil over slightly damp skin to lock in moisture.

First use: put a little oil on a small patch of skin, such as the inner arm, and wait 24 hours before using it all over.

Safety

• For external use only. Do not swallow.
• Avoid the eyes, nose and mouth. If oil gets into the eyes, rinse well with clean water.
• Do not apply to broken, cut, infected or inflamed skin.
• Stop using the oil if redness, rash or irritation appears. Ask a doctor if it does not settle.
• Babies are slippery after oiling. Hold them securely, especially near water.
• Keep the bottle tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Inhaling or swallowing oil can be dangerous for infants.
• For premature babies, or babies with eczema or other skin conditions, ask your paediatrician before use.
• Follow any warnings printed on the label. If they differ from this page, the label is correct.

Storage

• Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat.
• Close the cap after each use.
• Check the expiry date on the pack before use.

✔️ Age suitability

Lion Corporation (Thailand) states that it developed this oil specifically for newborn babies. Lion does not publish a minimum age, so check the age marking printed on the bottle. For premature babies or babies with a skin condition, ask a paediatrician before use.
