• Children (<6 years): The recommended dose is 50 mg (equivalent to 5 teaspoonfuls) daily, divided into multiple doses.

As a sedative for premedication and following general anesthesia:

• Adults: The recommended dose is 50-100 mg.

For children, the dosage for sedation is determined based on body weight:

• Children: The recommended dose is 0.6 mg/kg of body weight.
