Indication of Chiro Cyst 500mg Capsule

Inositol, a naturally occurring sugar found in the body and foods, exists in nine forms, with myo-inositol and D-chiro-inositol being common in supplements.

Inositol is believed to regulate certain chemicals in the body, potentially aiding mental conditions like panic disorder, depression, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. It may also enhance insulin function.

People use inositol for metabolic syndrome, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and to reduce the risk of preterm birth. It is also used for insomnia, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and other conditions, but scientific evidence supporting most of these uses is limited.

Pharmacology

Dicyroinositol is extracted from the pods of the carob (Ceratonia siliqua) using a proprietary process, found mainly in southern Europe. Lack of dicyroinositol in peripheral tissues can cause insulin resistance, which can lead to hyperandrogenism in the ovaries, which can lead to polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). • However, inositol is POSSIBLY UNSAFE when used for longer than 10 days in premature infants with ARDS.
