✅ Description:

Zinga is indicated for the prevention and treatment of zinc deficiency and zinc-losing conditions. Zinc deficiency may result from poor dietary intake or malabsorption. It is also beneficial in cases of excessive zinc loss due to trauma, burns, prolonged diarrhea, or protein-losing states. Supplementation continues until clinical improvement is achieved and may be required long-term in patients with chronic malabsorption or metabolic disorders.

Concurrent administration with tetracyclines or quinolones may reduce absorption of both agents.
Penicillamine can reduce zinc absorption when taken together.
Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation.
Zinga is generally well-tolerated. However, some patients may experience nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach discomfort, heartburn, or gastritis.
Safety during pregnancy has not been fully established. Zinc crosses the placenta and is excreted in breast milk; therefore, it should be used during pregnancy or lactation only if clearly needed.
Use with caution in patients with acute renal failure, as zinc accumulation may occur—dose adjustment may be necessary.
Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C, protected from light and heat. Keep out of the reach of children.
