✅ Description:
Tenobis 5mg tablet is indicated for the management of hypertension and in the treatment of coronary heart disease (angina pectoris). It may be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive agents.
Dosage and administration : In hypertension or Angina Pectoris : The usual dose of Bisoprolol Fumarate is 5 to 10mg as single daily dose. The maximum recommended dose is 20mg daily. In heart failure : The inItial dose of bisoprolol Fumarate is 1.25mg once daily. If tolerated, the dose should be doubled after 1 week and then increased gradually at 1 to 4 week intervals to the maximum dose tolerated, this should not exceed 10mg once daily. Patients with Renal or Hepatic Impairment: In patients with hepatic impairment (hepatitis or cirrhosis) or renal dysfunction (creatinine clearance <40 ml/min), the initial daily dose should be 2.5 mg and caution should be used in dose-titration. Since limited data suggest that Bisoprolol fumarate is not dialyzable, drug replacement is not necessary in patients undergoing dialysis. Or as directed by the registered physician.
