Napa 250mg Suppository relieves pain by increasing the pain threshold by inhibiting certain enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2) involved in the synthesis of chemicals responsible for inducing pain (prostaglandins). It reduces fever by directly acting on heat-regulating centers in the brain, resulting in vessel relaxation, sweating, and loss of body heat.
Fever, common cold, influenza, headache, toothache, earache, body ache, myalgia, neuralgia, dysmenorrhoea, sprains, colic pain, back pain, post-operative pain, postpartum discomfort, inflammatory pain, and post-vaccination pain in children are among the conditions for which paracetamol is prescribed. It's also used to treat rheumatic and osteoarthritic pain, as well as joint stiffness.
Paracetamol is analgesic and antipyretic with just a little anti-inflammatory effect. Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) is considered to work largely in the central nervous system (CNS), raising the pain threshold by blocking both isoforms of the cyclooxygenase enzymes COX-1, COX-2, and COX-3, which are involved in prostaglandin (PG) production. Paracetamol is a para aminophenol derivative that possesses analgesic, antipyretic, and anti-inflammatory effects. One of the most commonly used, safest, and fastest-acting analgesics is paracetamol. It is well tolerated and devoid of aspirin's numerous adverse effects.
Suppository:
It is contraindicated in known hypersensitivity to Paracetamol.
Keep below 25°C in a dry place. Protected from light. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.
