For adults and children over 10 years, administer 200-400 ml of prepared saline after each episode of diarrhea or vomiting. For children aged 2 to 10 years, give 100-200 ml, and for children under 2 years, provide 10 to 20 spoonfuls (50-100 ml) of the prepared saline after each loose stool or vomiting. The total daily intake should match the patient's fluid requirements for maintenance and replenishment. Adults should continue their regular diet, while breastfeeding should not be interrupted for children during saline therapy.
