Indication of Iprasol Respiratory Solution

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), is a lung problem that blocks airflow and makes it very difficult to breathe. Combimist Inhaler relaxes and widens the muscles of the airways in your lungs. Thus, this medicine is used to prevent and treat the symptoms associated with COPD.

Pharmacology:

• Ipratropium Bromide: Readily absorbed after inhalation with less than 10% systemic bioavailability. Excreted by the kidneys, with a terminal elimination half-life of approximately 1.6 hours.
• Salbutamol Sulphate: Rapid and complete absorption after inhalation or oral administration.

Dosage & Administration of Iprasol Respiratory Solution

• Adults (including elderly): Use one 3 ml ampoule in the nebulizer four times a day, with the option of two additional treatments per day if needed.
• Children: Dosage to be determined by a doctor.
• Follow your doctor's instructions on how often to use the inhaler.
• Effects may be noticeable after a few days but may take several weeks to reach maximum effectiveness.
• Use regularly as prescribed, even if symptom-free, to maintain effectiveness.

Interaction

• May have additive anticholinergic effects when used with psychotropics.
• May decrease the effect of propranolol.

Contraindications
