Cleven 20mg/0.2ml Injection is an anticoagulant medication that works by inhibiting the formation of new blood clots and preventing existing ones from growing larger. It does this by blocking a substance in the body involved in blood clotting, which promotes smooth blood flow throughout the body. This medication can reduce the damage caused by blood clots in various parts of the body, including the lungs, brain, heart, and other blood vessels. It is also used to prevent clots from forming after surgery, such as knee or hip joint replacement. While it does not dissolve blood clots, it can prevent them from enlarging, allowing the body to break them down over time. Additionally, it can reduce the likelihood of parts of a clot breaking off and traveling to other parts of the body.
Cleven 20mg/0.2ml Injection may cause some side effects. Common side effects may include bleeding, bruising, injection site reactions (such as pain or redness), pink patches on the skin (especially in the injection site), skin rash, itching, redness, low red blood cell count in the blood, and headache.
Uncommon side effects may include sudden severe headaches, tenderness, and swollen stomachs. Rare side effects may include increased blood potassium levels, hair loss, osteoporosis (weak and brittle bones), tingling, numbness, and muscular weakness (especially in the lower part of the body) if you have had a spinal puncture or a spinal anesthetic, and loss of control over the intestine or bladder.

Enoxaparin Sodium is indicated for the treatment of deep vein thrombosis, with or without pulmonary embolism, and for the treatment of unstable angina and non-Q-wave myocardial infarction when administered concurrently with aspirin. It is also used to prevent clot formation in the extracorporeal circulation during hemodialysis, for the prophylaxis of venous thromboembolic disease (prevention of blood clot formation in the veins), especially in cases related to orthopedic or general surgery, and in medical patients who are bedridden due to severe illnesses, including cardiac failure, respiratory failure, severe infections, and rheumatic diseases.
Enoxaparin Sodium is a type of low molecular weight heparin that has a high anti-Xa activity and low anti-IIa or antithrombin activity. It does not increase bleeding time at the doses required for different indications. At prophylactic doses, it does not significantly affect activated Partial Thromboplastin Time (aPTT). Enoxaparin Sodium does not affect platelet aggregation or the binding of fibrinogen to platelets. The primary site of metabolism of Enoxaparin Sodium is the liver.
Patients with known touchiness to Enoxaparin Sodium, heparin, or other moo atomic weight heparins. Patients with dynamic major dying and conditions with a tall chance of uncontrolled hemorrhage counting later hemorrhagic stroke.
Enoxaparin Sodium is classified as a Pregnancy Category B medication, which means that there have been no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women, but animal studies have not shown any adverse effects on the fetus. It is not known whether Enoxaparin Sodium can cross the placental barrier in humans. Therefore, it should be used during pregnancy only if needed.
Pregnant women who have mechanical prosthetic heart valves may have a higher risk of thromboembolism, and Enoxaparin Sodium may be required to manage this risk. However, the decision to use Enoxaparin Sodium during pregnancy should be made after weighing the benefits against the potential risks to the fetus.
It is not known whether Enoxaparin Sodium is excreted in human milk. However, many medications are excreted in human milk and may cause serious adverse reactions in nursing infants. Therefore, a decision should be made to discontinue nursing or to discontinue Enoxaparin Sodium, taking into account the importance of Enoxaparin Sodium to the mother and the known benefits of nursing.
