Hypro Extra Ophthalmic Gel is used to:
- Relieve dryness of the eyes.
- Temporarily alleviate discomfort caused by minor irritations, wind, or sun exposure.

Hypro Extra Ophthalmic Gel contains two lubricants, Hypromellose and Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium, which mimic natural tears to provide relief from dryness and irritation. These components:
- Lubricate and protect the eye surface.
- Stabilize and thicken the tear film to improve corneal wetting.
- Extend the tear film breakup time, enhancing comfort.
