- Levodopa dosage may be increased by 100 mg per day every 1–2 days
- Carbidopa intake should be within 70–100 mg per day, not exceeding 200 mg per day
- Levodopa should not exceed 800 mg per day
Controlled-Release (CR) Tablet:
- Initial dose: 50 mg/200 mg every 12 hours
- Maximum levodopa dose: 1,600 mg per day
- Doses should be spaced at least 6 hours apart
For Hepatic Impairment:
