Indication of Rolac 10mg Tablet

Rolac 10mg Tablet is a pain-relieving medicine. It is used for the short-term management of severe or intense pain, such as post-operative pain, tooth pain, joint pain, and muscle ache.

Pharmacology

Ketorolac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by inhibiting the activity of the cyclooxygenase enzyme (COX). COX is responsible for the production of prostaglandins, which are hormone-like substances involved in the inflammatory response and pain signaling. By inhibiting COX, ketorolac reduces the production of prostaglandins, leading to decreased inflammation and pain relief. This mechanism of action makes ketorolac an effective analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication.
