For pediatric patients (6 months to 5 years):

• Asthma and Allergic Rhinitis: The recommended daily dose is 4 mg.
• Exercise-Induced Bronchoconstriction: It is not recommended for this age group.

For patients with both asthma and allergic rhinitis, a single dose should be taken in the evening. This means that if an individual has both conditions, they should take their prescribed dose once daily, in the evening.

• To prevent exercise-induced bronchoconstriction, a single dose should be taken at least 2 hours before exercise.
• In terms of renal impairment, no dosage adjustment is needed for montelukast.
