How does Melacare Cream work?

Melacare Cream is a skin-lightening agent for topical application that inhibits tyrosinase enzyme, which is an important enzyme in the biosynthesis of melanin pigments. Inhibition of tyrosinase thus inhibits the production of melanin pigments, leading to skin lightening.

• Mild to moderate redness, peeling, burning, dryness, or itching
• Infection of hair follicles, acne, change in skin color
• Inflammation around the mouth
• Allergic skin reaction, skin infection, skin thinning
• Stretch marks, sweat problems

Indications:

Melacare Cream is primarily used to treat melasma, characterized by dark brown patches on the skin. It's effective against melasma symptoms such as chloasma or the pregnancy mask, often appearing on the face.

Pharmacology:

Melacare Cream combines Hydroquinone (skin-lightening agent), Mometasone (corticosteroid), and Tretinoin (Vitamin A derivative). Hydroquinone reduces melanin production, Mometasone alleviates inflammation, and Tretinoin enhances skin cell renewal.

Dosage & Administration

• Gently wash your face with a mild cleanser.
• Apply Melacare Cream at night, at least 30 minutes before bedtime.
• Use a small amount, and apply a thin coat onto discolored spots.
• Spread the medicine uniformly, avoiding sensitive areas.
• Do not cover the treated area after application.
• Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Overdose:

In case of accidental ingestion or excessive application, consult a doctor immediately.
