Fexo Suspension 50ml is an antihistamine used to treat various allergies like hay fever, conjunctivitis, eczema, hives, insect bite reactions, and some food allergies. It contains fexofenadine, a non-drowsy antihistamine, making it less likely to cause drowsiness in most people. Take it with or without food, swallowed whole with water. Common side effects like headaches, nausea, or dizziness are usually mild and resolve over time. Avoid using it if you are allergic to fexofenadine, breastfeeding, have severe kidney failure, urinary retention problem, or fructose intolerance. It's not suitable for children under two years of age. Consult your doctor if you take midodrine, ritonavir, or lopinavir medications. Allow a 2-hour gap between taking Fexo Suspension and indigestion remedies with aluminum or magnesium.

Dosage & Administration of Fexo Suspension
  • For Seasonal Allergic Rhinitis in adults and children 12 years and older, the recommended dosage of Fexo Suspension is twice daily, 120 mg once daily, or 180 mg once daily. In case of impaired renal function, the dosage is 60 mg once daily.
  • For children from 6 to 11 years, the recommended dosage is 30 mg twice daily or 60 mg once daily. In case of impaired renal function, the dosage is 30 mg once daily.
  • For children from 2 to 11 years with Seasonal Allergic Rhinitis, the recommended dosage of Fexo Suspension is twice daily. In case of impaired renal function, the dosage is 30 mg or 5 ml once daily.
  • For Chronic Idiopathic Urticaria in adults and children 12 years and older, the recommended dosage of Fexo Suspension is 60 mg twice daily, 120 mg once daily, or 180 mg once daily. In case of impaired renal function, the dosage is 60 mg once daily.
  • For children from 6 to 11 years with Chronic Idiopathic Urticaria, the recommended dosage is 30 mg twice daily or 60 mg once daily. In case of impaired renal function, the dosage is 30 mg once daily.
  • For children from 6 months to less than 2 years with Chronic Idiopathic Urticaria, the recommended dosage of Fexo Suspension is 15 mg or 2.5 ml (1/2 tsp) twice daily. In case of impaired renal function, the dosage is 15 mg or 2.5 ml (1/2 tsp) once daily.
  • For children from 2 to 11 years with Chronic Idiopathic Urticaria, the recommended dosage of Fexo Suspension is 30 mg or 5 ml (1 tsp) twice daily. In case of impaired renal function, the dosage is 30 mg or 5 ml (1 tsp) once daily.
