Indications of Armoda

Armoda is an oral medication indicated to improve wakefulness in adults with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), narcolepsy, and shift work disorder (SWD).

Pharmacology

Armoda modulates brain chemical levels, exerting a stimulant effect to reduce sleepiness.

Dosage & Administration of Armoda

• For OSA and narcolepsy: 150 mg to 250 mg as a single dose in the morning. For SWD: 150 mg as a single dose approximately 1 hour before the work shift.
• Elderly: Consider lower doses due to reduced elimination.
• Children: Safety and effectiveness not established.

Take Armoda with or without food, preferably in the morning. Do not skip doses and complete the full course.

If you forget a dose, skip it and continue with your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Interaction

May affect drugs metabolized by CYP3A4, CYP3A5, or CYP2C19. Caution with MAO inhibitors and warfarin.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to Armodafinil or its components.
