Montex 10 is a prescription medication used to prevent asthma and to manage allergic symptoms such as sneezing and a runny nose. It works by reducing inflammation in the airways, helping to make breathing easier.

Can be taken with or without food
Preferably take it at the same time each day for optimal effect
Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew

Adult Dose

Asthma & allergic rhinitis: 10 mg once daily (evening)
Exercise-induced asthma: 10 mg at least 2 hours before exercise (do not repeat within 24 hours)

Pediatric Dose

12–24 months: 4 mg once daily (granules)
2–6 years: 4 mg once daily
6–15 years: 5 mg once daily
≥15 years: 10 mg once daily

If a dose is missed, take it as soon as remembered. If it is close to the next scheduled dose, skip the missed one. Do not double the dose.
